Feature releases - appyway

Welcome to your next Traffic Suite feature release update!

Release Note

New Features:

Search and Sort Functionality:

We've introduced a comprehensive search and sort feature in Mapper. Now, you can effortlessly locate specific orders or sets using the search bar. You have the flexibility to search by order or set name, or even specific set attributes such as operating hours starting at 09:00. Additionally, you can sort orders and sets based on various parameters like their creation date, alphabetical order, or state.

Scheduling of Experimental Orders:

Similar to permanent orders, you can now schedule the publication and activation of experimental orders. No more worries about missed deadlines!

Mapbox Streets Basemap:

We've recently incorporated the "Mapbox Streets" basemap layer into Mapper, offering users a more detailed view of the Mapbox basemap.

"Find a Map Tile" Functionality:

The "Find a map tile" functionality, previously available to the public in Streets, is now accessible to both read-only and editing license users within Mapper.

Concurrent Working:

We've enhanced the platform to enable real-time updates and data synchronisation across all users. This means multiple users can collaborate within a single order while always working with up-to-date data.

Categorisation of Schemes:

We've introduced the option to categorise schemes with the reasons for inception, as defined in the regulations. These categories are prominently displayed to the public during the Public Consultation phase. This feature also allows for easy reporting on the number of schemes supporting a particular implementation reason, such as improving air quality.

Iframe Integration with Authority Websites:

We've developed a demo local authority webpage to demonstrate how our Public Consultation or Streets modules can be seamlessly embedded as iframes within your website. Detailed instructions on how to achieve this can be found here: https://docs.appyway.com/docs/public-docs/9134dd2844655-public-consultation

User Groups:

We extend our gratitude to all participants in our first virtual user group held on September 19th. This event offered a fantastic opportunity to showcase recent Traffic Suite improvements and engage in discussions about upcoming developments.

Some valuable feedback and requests from attendees included:

  • Adding address information to the feedback CSV export in the Engagement Dashboard.

  • Implementing an exact address search.

  • Exploring integration opportunities with One.Network.

  • Exploring opportunities with ANPR capacity data.

We are actively investigating and working on these requests, and we will provide updates on our progress soon.

We would like to extend an invitation to our upcoming in-person user group event in Central London, scheduled for the 29th of November. Mike has already sent out calendar invitations for this event. If you have not received the invitation and wish to attend, please don't hesitate to reach out to me.

NPS Survey:

You might have noticed an in-app message inviting you to complete a short survey about your experience with the Traffic Suite. We encourage you to take a moment to provide your feedback, whether it's positive or negative. We closely monitor this feedback and use it to enhance the Traffic Suite. The survey is promoted every three months.

User Research:

Several of you have already participated in user research to better understand how local authorities manage estate parking and car park assets. This research supports the possibility of creating a new Mapper module tailored to these needs. If you'd like to get involved, please don't hesitate to reach out. By participating, you can enjoy the following benefits:

  • Direct Influence: Shape a solution that caters to your specific needs.

  • Operational Efficiency: Enhance your operations with an efficient tool.

  • Early Advantage: Be among the first to benefit from this cutting-edge solution.

  • Collaboration: Partner with us to ensure the tool seamlessly aligns with your daily requirements.

Kind regards

Samuel Kinrade
