Thank you to all the attendees of the user group session that took place on 24th May 2023. We were thrilled to see such a great turnout and appreciated the feedback we received. Based on your input, we have made the following improvements:

1. DXF file overlay: We have introduced a new feature that allows you to overlay CAD drawings within Mapper. This enables you to trace schemes or even new road layouts when the OS base maps are not yet up to date.

2. Find a map tile functionality in Mapper: We have made it even easier to find specific map tiles within a schedule by bringing the 'Find a map tile" functionality into Mapper. This will save you time and effort when navigating through the system. This is accessed by right-clicking on a restriction and inspecting the order details.

3.  Ability to enable/disable tariffs in the map schedules/Streets: We have added an option to enable or disable tariff information from showing in the map schedules or on Streets. This provides more flexibility in customising the display according to your preferences.

4. Improvements to map schedules: We have implemented several improvements to the map schedules. These include the addition of a guide page for all orders to support interpretation, clearer labeling for better understanding, and the removal of "all week, all year" for restrictions that apply at all times.

5. Scheduling experimental orders: We will shortly be releasing functionality to schedule the publishing of an experimental order, ensuring that it is not missed or overlooked. This functionality will mirror that of permanent orders.

The Hub Page 

We have made significant changes to our Hub page, including the launch of "The Parking Platform". This platform supports authorities in preparing for the upcoming release of the "National Parking Platform." Share this information with your parking team to familiarise them with the benefits and efficiencies it offers when integrated with the Traffic Suite for local authorities.

Furthermore, we have added a notice board/banner to the Hub Page. This will be used to share important information regarding new products, upcoming events, and more. Stay informed and check it regularly for the latest updates.

Upcoming Events

Exciting news! We're going virtual! We'll now hold virtual user group sessions every 6 months for those unable to travel. These shorter sessions will focus on feature developments, with opportunities to brainstorm ideas with other local authorities. Our first virtual session is scheduled for August.
