Welcome to the latest Traffic Suite feature release update! This update highlights the changes we’ve made over the past four months.
For those who attended the working group on June 19th, much of this information will be familiar. Thank you for your participation—it was an insightful day. We look forward to our next session, which will be held in Leeds later this year.
A warm welcome to all our new customers! We've seen a significant increase in new clients recently, many of whom have been fully onboarded in the past couple of months. We greatly appreciate your feedback, which will be considered for future improvements. Please continue to share your thoughts with me, your Customer Success Manager, or through our support channels.
We would also appreciate it if you could take a moment to complete this brief survey to provide additional feedback and suggestions on how we can enhance our products, services, and user groups. Survey can be found using this link.
Feel free to reach out if you have any questions. |

Traffic Suite Improvements: |
Emissions-Based Tariffs: We've added indicators on map schedules to highlight the presence of emissions-based tariffs. Comprehensive information on these tariffs is now available in Streets and included in the notice of making documents. |
Optimised Data Loading: We've streamlined data loading in the Moving Regulation Mode for faster performance. |
New Drawing Tools: We’ve added new drawing tools to define Red Route Clearways and High Occupancy Vehicle Lanes. |
Special Characters: You can now use special characters in order and set names. |
Enhanced Zone Information: The Zone Inspector tool in Mapper and Streets now provides full zone type information, enhancing clarity and usability. |
Improved Legend: The order of legend items in schedules has been updated. Items are now listed alphabetically in the "Added, Modified, and Revoke" sections, with zones listed at the end for easier reference. |
Experimental Order End Dates: Added visibility of end dates for experimental orders in Mapper. |
Enhanced Search Functionality: Searching for specific features is now more efficient. Simply enter the feature ID in the search bar in Mapper, and the feature table will filter accordingly. |
Improved Drawing Precision: You can now snap zones to boundary lines for consistent coverage. Additionally, we've surfaced centreline data in Static Regulation Mode and kerb edge data in Moving Regulation Mode to facilitate more accurate drawing. |
Snapping Features: We’ve enabled snapping to centerlines for clearway restrictions in Static Regulation Mode and snapping to kerb edges for turn restrictions in Moving Regulation Mode, ensuring precise and uniform drawing. |
Change Set Notifications: We've introduced warning messages for modifications impacting features in other orders. Changes to sets are now listed in the change set table within the Orders tab in Mapper for better management and transparency. |
Routes/Greenways Tooling: We've introduced comprehensive tools to define pedestrian, cycle, horse, and horse-drawn vehicle routes within Mapper. Additionally, you can also define Greenway routes, providing flexibility and precision in mapping diverse pathways. |
Weight Limit Tooling: We've updated the weight limit tooling to allow for clear definition of both structural weight limits and environmental weight limits (prohibition of goods vehicles), more closely mirroring the TSRGD. |
Change Set Table Improvements: To enhance the ability to search and identify features on the map from the feature table, we've implemented two updates. Firstly, we've added the option to "Copy feature ID" for all restrictions listed in the change set table, accessible via right-click. The feature ID can be pasted into the search bar to locate the precise feature on the map (the feature table will filter to display this feature as well). Secondly, we've introduced a "Zoom to feature" button for every feature in every state within the change set table, making it easier to pinpoint the exact location of each feature on the map. |
